So how could you do that. What would a plan for making your web site well known on the Web look like? There are an infinite number of possibilities, but here are a few to think about. You could have post to your own blog, guest blog on a couple of other sites, and write articles for a directory. Let's say you wrote one a day for each. That would be 20 pieces of new content every week. Most people don't do a quarter of that. And the posts wouldn't need to be excessively long. Most of your visitors won't have the time to read a lot of text anyway. 400-500 words is ample. You could add social media to that mix. Let's say that instead of guest blogging, you created a podcast. Then you could make it available for smartphones. How long do you think it would take you to create a 5-minute recording? Or, you could create a virtual television channel, and use video to promote yourself through it. Make a list of five tips you want to talk about; discuss each for three or four minutes, add and introduction and some closing remarks, and you have a 20 minutes recording. It is what it is.
Now let's consider blogging. This is a great way to build a fan base and to get people to like you. With a popular and updated blog, people will subscribe to your blog posts, and will follow and read your content whenever you put something new up. You have to make sure that your blog content is really good, and is something that people will want to bookmark, share, and read over and over again.
Don't expect to build a highly thriving blog in one day. It takes months or even years for some people to fully tap into the full power of blogs, and make one that is very profitable for them. So if you're looking for some "easy" cash here... don't look, because you won't find it.
